Filip Majerčík

The film opens on my portrait in an autumn forest, looking to the side, my first name set behind me and my surname in front.

Me, Filip Majerčík, in a dark long-sleeved shirt, in an autumn forest, looking to the side.

I build what I design.

I combine design, code and AI to turn ambitious ideas into working products.

Timelapse · from my film, Slovakia — The Art of Nature (2023) · 0:38.95

I learned to see by waiting for light.

As you scroll, a real timelapse plays: a snow ridge at blue hour, the moon setting, until the first red light of sunrise reaches the peaks. Scrolling back reverses it.

A snow ridge in the first red light of sunrise, the moon above it — a frame of my timelapse.

One frame, made real.

Time stops on the red-light frame. It becomes a photograph, then a canvas print with depth, turning in the dark.

FramePlan

From an image to its place in space.

Product design · TypeScript · AI-assisted development Live

Drag the print 160 × 90 cm

A rendered living room lights up around the canvas. The camera moves in, the canvas flies to the wall above a walnut sideboard, and FramePlan's geometry fixes it at its true size and perspective, in the window's light.

A rendered living room in late sun: a limewashed wall, a walnut sideboard with white vases and a dry branch; window light falls across the wall.

LenScan

From parametric CAD to physical prototyping.

3D design / CAD / 3D printing In development

The print leaves the wall and turns into a strip of colour negative, lit from behind — a metaphor: the photograph was never on film. The strip runs into LenScan's film path while the scanner is cut open to show the gate. Then the scanner itself, rendered: a matte black design-study shell around a mechanism from the prototype CAD. It comes apart along its optical axis — shell, lens collar, light box, drive, the cassette with the film, the front plate — and goes back together.

Render of LenScan: a matte black cylindrical scanner with a lens collar on top and a film strip running through its side slot.

Interfaces, designed and built.

Screenshot. StudyLab, dark: a lesson marked ready to study — quotes from the notes verified, three errors corrected, four examples recomputed.

Through LenScan's lens the camera comes out into a dark hall where screenshots of my websites and applications hang as lit screens over a reflective floor: the MAJERČÍK site (not yet public), the templates Tichá, Breme, Miera and Baton, and StudyLab (on synthetic test data). Screenshots: my designs, the code written with Claude Code under my direction.

AI bez slopu

A book about better AI outputs — created with AI, without the slop.

Author & AI direction · Figma · image models In development

Render of the book AI bez slopu lying closed on a dark table: its white cover with the title in heavy black, “Reality” in red, and a red spine.Render of the book open at pages 6–7, the manifesto: “AI nie je problém. Slop je problém.” — AI is not the problem, slop is.

At the end of the hall a closed book lies in a pool of light on a dark table: AI bez slopu, its white cover with the title in black, “Reality” in red, a red spine. The camera comes down to it; the cover opens and its pages turn as you scroll, a few at a time — the manifesto “AI nie je problém. Slop je problém.”, the 62 % finding, how to recognise visual slop, the opener of Part III and virtual staging. A render, made from the book's own layout.
