Filip Majerčík

AI-native product builder

Profile

Designer and photographer with a decade of professional graphic design, photography and film. In 2026 I have been building software products, AI-assisted workflows, research systems and physical prototypes — working with AI coding agents (mainly Claude Code) under written specs, with tests, independent reviews and handoff documents. I am looking at roles as AI Product Engineer, AI Technical Generalist, AI Operator, AI Automation Engineer, Product Engineer.

Selected work · 2026

Code, CAD and documents on these projects were written with Claude Code under my direction; I set the rules, review, test and decide what ships.

  1. FramePlan

    LIVE

    Spatial product software · Sep–Oct 2026

A web app that plans canvas photo prints room by room and wall by wall, showing each one at true physical size and in correct perspective on real wall photographs.

663/663 tests passing, re-run on the released code on 27 Oct 20260.0013 calibration within this of ground truth at go-live (normalised image units)45 of 46 commits co-authored with Claude Opus

Code and documentation written with Claude Code (Claude Opus) under my direction: 45 of the 46 commits carry a Claude co-author line. I set the rules the agent works under, reviewed the results and decided what shipped.

  2. StudyLab

    LIVE

    AI study software · source verification · Sep–Oct 2026

A private study workspace that turns lecture notes into exam-ready material: a model writes it, deterministic code re-finds every quote and recomputes every checkable result, and anything uncertain is shown, not hidden.

104 / 104 model quotes re-found in the source text, three real-model smoke runs on synthetic notes375 tests passing, 40 opt-in real-service tests skipped (2026-10-09)31 / 31 integration tests against a real Neon database branch

Code written with Claude Code (Opus) under my direction: all 16 commits carry a Claude Opus 5.5 co-author line. I set the spec, reviewed and decided. Inside the product, an OpenAI model writes the study material and StudyLab’s own deterministic code checks it.

  3. LenScan

    IN DEVELOPMENT

Physical product · parametric CAD · Jun – Oct 2026

A film scanner I am designing to screw onto a macro lens’s filter thread, so an existing camera can digitise 35 mm and 120 film.

6 CAD configurations collision-checked by script20/20 regression tests of the checker (27 Oct 2026)18 print-test records, Jun – Oct 2026 (2 still planned)

CAD code, check scripts, documents and the Blender render scripts are written with Claude Code (Claude Opus, some Sonnet) under my direction: 42 of the LenScan repository’s 44 commits carry a Claude co-author line. ChatGPT was used for independent reviews. I decide, approve every print and do every physical test; the test log records that the AI sent nothing to the printer.

  4. Falsify-first research

    RESEARCH

    Research systems · Jul–Oct 2026

Ten research programmes, July to October 2026, and the method they converged on: freeze the test, try the cheapest kill first, record a typed verdict, keep the negative result.

10 research programmes, Jul–Oct 20260 trading edges claimed; no commercial opportunity validated1.67× vs 2.13× signal separation vs break-even burden (pump-edge-learner)

Claude Code (mostly Claude Opus models; co-author on most commits) did most of the analysis, code and write-up, with Codex as implementer or independent reviewer in TrenchLab and Bug Bounty Lab, under my rules: hashed pre-registration, adversarial reviews, fresh-session portability audits. I set the questions and made the open and close decisions.

  5. AI bez slopu: Reality

    IN DEVELOPMENT

    Research-backed publication · AI image direction · Sep–Oct 2026

A 68-page Slovak playbook for real-estate agents on using AI for listings, photos, staging and video without generic slop. It is made with AI assistance and shows its own corrections.

68 + cover pages laid out natively in Figma, 200 × 260 mm62 % of 108 hand-picked public Slovak listings open with the same agency formula30 · 54 image-model requests and images, every take logged with a verdict

Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5, credited on every commit) did the research, drafted the Slovak manuscript, built the layout in Figma through Figma MCP, ran and logged the fal.ai image batches and wrote the documentation, under my direction. I made the recorded decisions; my line edit of the text and my review of most image selections are recorded as pending.

  6. MAJERČÍK

    IN DEVELOPMENT

    Art direction · identity and website · Aug–Oct 2026 (website) · films 2017 and 2023

A visual identity and website exploration for my own multidisciplinary brand, art-directed on my photographs and films, critiqued round by round and rebuilt live to measured fidelity.

313.4 px live name at 1440 × 900, against 313.44 px in Figma108 frames of one film, evenly spaced, on one screen437 · 438 feature matches kept by RANSAC, registering two set-up photographs to their film frames

Design rounds were built by Claude in my Figma file through the Figma plugin for Claude Code; rounds and live builds were reviewed by a second model (Fable) briefed as a hard critic, the reviews kept verbatim; the Astro build was written with Claude Code (Opus). Every commit carries a Claude co-author line. I briefed, reviewed and decided.

Also

  • Public Tender Radar PROTOTYPE — A local, auditable radar over Slovak public procurement (ÚVO / NKOD, TED, JOSEPHINE). It judges commercial fit separately from the procurement decision, and a missing document always means REVIEW. No language model in the loop.
  • Portfolio Web Lab LIVE — Four templates — a hospitality website, an e-commerce store, an architecture website and a web app — each art-directed, with a live preview.
  • Timelapse films SHIPPED — Two authored timelapse films of Slovakia’s mountains, shot over long field nights with a motion-control rig.

What I bring

  • Verification. I trust a measurement over a model’s opinion — including my own.
  • AI-assisted engineering. I build with AI agents: I set the rules, specs and review gates they work under, check what they hand back, and make them leave handoffs the next session can continue from.
  • Product judgment. I write down what a product must never do, and hold the build to it.
  • Visual quality. A decade of design and photography: I can tell when something is good, and say why.
  • Research. I can stop. I try the cheapest kill first, write down why an idea died, and what would reopen it.
  • Pipelines. I turn repeated work into pipelines with machine checks, and keep a human gate where it matters.
  • Physical prototyping. I take products past the screen: parametric CAD, printed test pieces, and a log that keeps the failures.
  • Documentation. Every project leaves a record another person — or another agent — can continue from.
